Born in the heart of the “Rust Belt,” Bob was educated at the College for Creative Studies, The Atlanta College of Art, and The Portfolio Center. He has worked as an exhibiting gallery artist, manual laborer, kindergarten teacher, Art Director for Cartoon Network, and owner of a marketing communications consultancy. His artwork has been exhibited in the United States, the UK, and China. He has lectured at colleges and universities on the topic of sketchbooks and creativity, and is an outspoken proponent of the sketchbook as a finished piece of art.
